March study additional supplements

Although it may be getting late for some chapters that may be doing their gosho study this week, I've noticed a few additional reference sources that may be helpful for the gosho studies. They are:

On the Topic of "True Cause and True Effect"

The article titled, "What is Karma?" in the March 7, 2008 World Tribune, Page 1 and Page 8. Especially where it states, ""It is explained in the Lotus Sutra that present within us is the true or original cause of our pure, cosmic life force undelifed by the causes and effects influenced by delusion. Nichiren Buddhism reveals this original state of life as the Buddha nature of Nam-myoho-renge-kyo. By bringing forth in the present moment the influence of this inherent true cause, the influences of our negative causes and effects are lessenend. Their power to influence the future is diminished." (WT, Mary 7, 2008, Pg 8)

On the Topic of "Practice for Oneself and Others"

President Ikeda's address at the February Headquarters Leaders Meeting in the March 7 and March 14, 2008 World Tribune that is continued in the March 21, 2008 World Tribune.

Specifically in President Ikeda's address at the February Headquarters Leaders Meeting he says, "I'm told that Mr. Makiguchi once stated emphatically, his eyes shining with youthful vigor: 'The most important thing is chanting Nam-myoho-renge-kyo ourselves and teaching others to do the same," and "Sharing the teachings is the lifeblood of Buddhism.'" WT, March 14, 2008, Pg 2
